Tackle unwanted indoor humidity
Indoor humidity can come from the outdoors or be created by human activity. Cooking, drying laundry, showering, or large amounts of houseplants are common sources of moisture in the home. Room humidity is measured with a hygrometer. The R-91220 Genius² Wi-Fi dehumidifier has a relative (current) humidity indicator and the ability to set the mode to achieve the desired humidity value in the range of 30-80%.
Ideal room humidity ranges from 45-55%. If it exceeds 60%, a climate conducive to the growth of mould and bacteria is created. Mould damages surfaces, creates a musty smell and causes allergies and respiratory problems. Threats to your health and the quality of your living or working environment can be prevented by choosing the right dehumidifier.
Elegant design and Wi-Fi control
You can control the R-91220 Genius² Wi-Fi humidifier over Wi-Fi. Just pair your home Wi-Fi with the unit, install the Rohnson app on your phone, and you can control the unit from literally anywhere. For manual control, you can use the easy-to-understand control panel with digital display. The Elegant timeless design in black is also suitable for representative interiors with higher appearance requirements.
2in1 Dehumidifier and Air Purifier
Our specialty is offering advanced air treatment and purification options. This model features an ionization function that starts immediately after the unit is turned on and is active in all modes. The UV-C lamp disinfects the air by killing microorganisms. The Ionisation and carbon filter removes odours and impurities from the air. Alternatively, an advanced HEPA H13 filter can be purchased to mechanically trap mould, bacteria, viruses, allergens and the smallest flying particles. With this feature, the device in addition to water, absorbs unwanted pathogens in the home with a 99.9% success rate. The device becomes two full-featured appliances at the same time: a dehumidifier and a 2-in-1 air purifier.
Ionization with air purification can also be run separately, without dehumidification.
Ionization process
Ionisation works by electrically charging air molecules. These negatively charged beneficial particles (anions) bind to positively charged harmful particles (cations), such as dust or pollen, and together form clumps that fall to the ground. You can get rid of them for good by vacuuming or wiping them off surfaces.
UV-C lamp
UV-C lamp generates radiation with a wavelength that disrupts the molecular structure of RNA and DNA acids. As a result, microorganisms (viruses, bacteria) lose their ability to reproduce and die. The lamp disinfects only the air flowing through the device, it does not irradiate the space and surfaces, so you do not have to worry about its effect on the human body.
High performance and laundry drying mode
The R-91220 Genius² Wi-Fi dehumidifier rids your surroundings of moisture with a generous 20 litres per day output. The high output significantly reduces the dehumidification time to the desired value. It is a great help especially when drying laundry. In this highest power mode, it can reduce the drying process by up to half the time. Drying is also aided by the vertical airflow of the fan.
What happens to the moisture that is sucked in?
The condensate formed by the accumulation of moisture can be dealt with in two ways: 1) The water is stored in a reservoir, which every dehumidifier has – once the reservoir is full, the unit stops operation and starts again when it is empty. The capacity of the reservoir is 5.5 litres of water. 2) Continuous drainage via a drain hose – this connects to a drain or larger container (e.g. a bath) where the condensate will go. There is therefore no need to pour it out, which you will appreciate especially in continuous operation.
The timing of traffic is up to you
The dehumidifier can work even when you’re away, so you can go about your business without worrying. Thanks to the timer function, you can choose when the unit turns on or off, within 1-24 hours. The smartphone control offers wider options regarding the setting of operating times on different days of the week and for multiple participants. In the event of a power outage and subsequent power restoration, the power is automatically switched off and on. The device then resumes in the last selected mode. Parents of children will also appreciate the child lock function, which prevents your little ones from changing the settings.

As soon as the dehumidifier is switched on, dehumidification, ionisation and air passes through the carbon filter and ionisation filter automatically.
Ionisation is present in all modes. When the leaflet button is pressed, the dehumidification is switched off (compressor is switched off), but the ionisation and air purification through the filters continues independently.

Turn off the fan when the selected humidity is reached
The R-91220 Genius² Wi-Fi turns off the compressor and shuts off the fan within 5 minutes.
What does the EC error code mean ?
The model has a connection problem with the PCB (printed circuit board). This is a technical fault and service should be contacted.
